Last updated 26 August 2026. This notice is written to meet the requirements of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the UK GDPR.
1. Who we are
AquaJet.ai ("AquaJet", "we", "us") operates this website and the maritime intelligence, autonomous systems and water sports booking services described on it. We act as the data controller for personal data collected through this website.
For any privacy question, contact privacy@aquajet.ai. If you are in the EU/EEA or UK and are not satisfied with our response, you may lodge a complaint with your national data protection authority.
2. What data we collect
Data you give us: name, email address, company or role, location, message content, budget indication, interest and demand-survey answers, and your consent choices.
Data collected automatically: IP address, device and browser information, pages visited and referral source. Strictly necessary items are used to keep the site secure and functional; anything beyond that is only collected if you consent.
We do not knowingly collect data from children under 16 and we do not ask for special category data.
3. Why we process it, and our legal basis
To respond to enquiries, demo requests and partner applications — legal basis: consent, or performance of a contract / pre-contractual steps at your request.
To operate bookings and fulfil orders — legal basis: performance of a contract.
To measure demand and improve our products (including our demand-signal survey) — legal basis: consent.
To send product updates and marketing — legal basis: consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
To keep the platform secure and prevent abuse, and to meet legal or accounting obligations — legal basis: legitimate interests and legal obligation.
4. Automated decision-making
Our maritime intelligence products generate operational insights from sensor and vessel data. We do not use automated decision-making or profiling that produces legal effects concerning you or similarly significantly affects you on the basis of personal data submitted through this website.
5. Who we share data with
Service providers acting on our instructions as processors: cloud hosting and database infrastructure, email delivery, CRM and marketing automation, analytics and advertising partners (only where you have consented).
Operators and partners: where you request a specific booking or demo, we share only the details needed to fulfil your request.
Authorities: where we are legally required to do so. We do not sell personal data.
6. International transfers
Some providers process data outside your country, including in the EEA, the UK, the United States and the Gulf region. Where data leaves the EEA/UK we rely on adequacy decisions or Standard Contractual Clauses together with supplementary technical measures such as encryption in transit and at rest.
7. How long we keep data
Enquiries, demo requests and demand-survey responses: up to 24 months from your last interaction, unless you ask us to delete them sooner.
Marketing contacts: until you withdraw consent, plus a short suppression record so we do not contact you again.
Booking and transaction records: as required by applicable tax and commercial law.
Consent records: for the period needed to demonstrate compliance.
8. Your rights
You have the right to access your data, to rectification, to erasure, to restriction of processing, to data portability, to object to processing based on legitimate interests, and to withdraw consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of prior processing.
To exercise any right, email privacy@aquajet.ai. We respond within one month and may ask for information to verify your identity. Exercising your rights is free of charge.
9. Security
Access to personal data is restricted to authorised personnel. Data is stored in managed infrastructure with row-level access controls, encryption in transit and at rest, and audit logging. No system is perfectly secure, so we also maintain an incident response process and will notify affected individuals and regulators where required.
10. Cookies and your choices
Details of every cookie category are in our Cookie Policy. You can revisit your choices at any time.
